For the Love of Layout. Layout is definitely one of my strong points when it comes to design. I even had the good fortune to teach courses in Layout and Design at two local community colleges. Give me space and elements and I’ll provide a solution that conveys information and subtly guides the viewer’s eye through the details while never losing site of your brand and its guidelines. On its own, a beer and chocolate pairing party sounds quite attractive, but getting the opportunity to design the event poster? That takes the errrr, cake! Okay, so there wasn’t any cake involved, but I was provided with pairing specifics, event details and logos with the usual ‘make it look good and have fun with it’ directive. Project: Viva la Vivid! The bride’s Latin heritage influenced the vibrant color palette used for this invitation suite. I admit I thought I was hearing things when she announced she wanted to use red, magenta and bright orange. I love that it pushed my comfort zone and we were both ecstatic with the result. It's almost spring here in the NW. For me, that means it is time to refresh the ol' wardrobe. I've got the Spring Fashion Fever! After purchasing about what seems like 27 "Spring Fashion" magazines in the last week or so, I feel that it safe to put a label on it. Man, it has been hard to concentrate this last week. We are having an Indian Summer of sorts here in Portland and although I have the best intentions to prep for holiday shows, it is just not happening. I mean-it's sunny out there! I also have a tinge of short-timer's syndrome due to a vacation that is coming up soon. This recipe will blow your mind! I promise you will love this meatloaf. I have been on a quest to find a meatless meatloaf recipe for some time that isn't full of weird ingredients and I hit the jackpot with this one. Without exaggeration, this is the best meatloaf recipe. That I have ever had. It's almost unbelievable that it doesn't contain meat. It only took me about 10 minutes and the loaf-to-be was in the oven! As of lunch today, the entire loaf is GONE! It was that tasty. Enjoy! Blogs You Might Like.

This is really happening! We have ordered our E-Camper and it is all finished (as of Monday). We are just waiting for it to be delivered to us. I'm so excited! Take a look at Ursa Minor's Website. And checkout if your car can be converted into a super cool camping-mobile. While the Element has been in sunny San Diego, I have learned how to navigate my little corner of the city by bike, which has been so fun!
