GLOBAL GRANT - PROSJEKT I KENYA. Ål Rotary står som prosjekteigar for eit samarbeidsprosjekt der òg Geilo, Gol og Nesbyen Rotaryklubbar deltek. Prosjektet er totalfinansiert med 328 000 kr gjennom tilskot på 100 000 kr frå dei fire klubbane, og midlar Ål Rotary har skaffa frå Rotary Foundation, Rotarydistriktet og andre. Utdanningsprosjektet for døve ungdommar i Kenya skjer i samarbeid med Deaf Aid. Gåva er det største enkelt- tilskotet Deaf Aid. 20 ferske studentar vil dermed. Kvart år kunne starte ei.
