Over the past couple of decades it appears to me that there is an element of snobbery as to how and by whom sign language should be taught i.e. by a profoundly Deaf person in a classroom with a maximum of 16 students aligned in a semi-circle with a smart board and possibly some hand outs that haven't changed since sign language began.what's your thoughts? Since then Deaf Active have campaigned tirelessly to promote inclusive youth and play services for D/deaf children and young people, CODA's (Children Of Deaf Adults), Hard of Hearing children and their hearing family members and friends.
