This is a journey of healing and recovery from a traumatic brain injury (TBI). This part of the story is from my perspective as Darian's mother. Darian received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy on August 4th, 2001. She was rear ended in her Dodge Durango by another vehicle doing approximately 100 miles per hour on August 5th, 2006. She sustained a severe TBI and then a stroke. Darian was in a coma for 7 months.
