Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Covered Bridges in Tennessee. The 2nd one is in Elizabethton, TN http:/ www.tdot.state.tn.us/bridges/existing/Elizabethtonbridge.htm. This bridge was built in 1882 over the Doe River. There is a picnic/park built around the bridge which makes for a great place to slow down and be at peace for a few minutes.
