Monday, November 22, 2010. High CPU usage, it may be Overheating. Recently i observed a very peculiar thing , my CPU usage became exceptionally high for almost all applications. I had installed Office 2010 Pro, and suspected it to be a culprit. I used to download at more than 5MBps from local lan (DC ) so i reinstalled its latest version, i used defragmenter, Disk check and what not. Simply because we want the job get done in fastest possible time. Also we want to reduce priority for some old lazy jobs which we can takes few mins to run. Thursday, December 30, 2010. Increase / Decrease margins in PDF. Increasing or decreasing margins in PDF is what most of us need to do, specially when printing journals/letters etc on A4 sheets, or vice-versa . I tried few softwares myself, they are as follows :-. Adobe Acrobat Reader Professional. This is great software with inbuilt capability of croping pages, remove white margins (although some times with variable size pages get screwed up, but its good). Thursday, April 19, 2012. Subsubsection in Report/Book Class Latex. We some time need to use subsubsection when writing reports/books in latex. Although this kind of use is rare its still sometimes required. By default subsubsection will not be numbered in book or report class. To use add :. To the preamble, and you will see the subsubsection is now being numbered. Basically the above line instructs latex to use 3 level of numbering instead of default 2 (chapter - section - subsection). Saturday, January 29, 2011. Fastest and Cheapest Internet in world. And found that cheapest net access is in HONG KONG (just Rs 1170 for 1Gbps connection ). Thursday, February 3, 2011. Bezier surface without using Evaluators OpenGl. This is my first post that contains some actual code. I wont provide the entire code for any of the posts, as it will be a spoon feeding. I will off-course give substantial part of it. (And to much extent with any optimizations, leaving them to the imagination of the user :). We will use DeCasteljau Algorithm.
