The Hawaii Ocean Timeseries. Project involves cruises to ALOHA Station. Nearly every month, starting in October 1988. Shipboard ADCP data (evaluation cruises). UHDAS supports a variety of instruments made by Teledyne RD Instruments. In addition to the velocity measurements, transducer temperature measurements are shown. These should be regarded as providing only very approximate and qualitative information; the transducers are installed in fluid-filled wells, the temperature of which is often substantially higher than that of the seawater outside. Monitoring of UHDAS ADCP systems is supported by NSF.
