Cape Town Carnivore and Vegan. Sunday, December 12, 2010. Beleza, Tamboerskloof, Sunday 12 December 2010. We were first drawn into Beleza by the sign advertising their R12 breakfast. This was our second visit, and both times were for breakfast, so we can’t review lunch or dinner options on the menu! Beleza is a Portuguese diner, but doesn’t have any sort of ethnic vibe. It has a very chic, airy, open, indoor-outdoor feel, with retro furniture, lighting, mirrors, and a vintage clothing boutique inside.

Cape Town Carnivore and Vegan. Friday, October 29, 2010. Hudson’s (The Burger Joint), Kloof Street Cape Town, 27 Oct 2010. It was an extremely windy and cold Wednesday night, when we went to meet another couple for dinner at Hudson’s. The Carnivore had called for a booking earlier in the day, but was told they only take reservations for groups of 6 or more. The interior is very small (only four tables), but they have outside seating with canvas walls around three sides. The inside was full when we arrived.
