November 20, 2013. A horrible dessert might be cake balls in disguise. You might think the blueberry dessert pictured here looks pretty good. But you'd be wrong. The original dessert I was trying to make was blueberry flaugnarde from the Misfit Baker. I first saw Ketty's version of the flaugnarde on Luminous Vegans,. The outer edges were very tasty. A little rough, but oh so tasty! I put them in the freezer, and you wouldn't believe how fabulous they taste! Labels: failed recipe turned into something good.

March 23, 2015. Seattle Vegfest 2015 (nachos included). At Vegfest, but rather a mind-boggling array of edible products made without the use of animal-derived products. Seattle Vegfest wasn't entirely vegan, but it seemed that more items than ever were vegan this year. And a large number of the products were gluten-free as well. E, or by following this link. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thrilled to have her approval of my baking skills, but the downside is that now I have to maintain my reputation. :D. So what did I bake to earn such an enthusiastic endorsement? It was an easy-to-throw-together blueberry/strawberry lemon cake that has appeared on these pages before. But since it got such a high approval rating, I thought I'd reprise it. It's basically the same as the cake in this post. 1/4 cup oat flour.

Left of the Blue Wall. Sunday, May 27, 2012. Maybe I'm more willing to suffer. Been training methodically, working with a coach. She says run faster, I try to run faster. She says bike that hill five times, I do it. Intense. Yoga tells me to rename pain "sensation," breath into working muscles, relax those less involved, use the mind. January 26, 2018. Don't think there's a recipe for spring rolls here, but these look great! On her piece of paper, and everyone was supposed to cook something from my blog. Would I like to come? A more extroverted, confident person might have been thrilled and honored, but I was horrified. I tried to remain calm and 'normal' but I was experiencing thoughts like, "what if the recipes don't work? What if everything comes out awful? What if they hate the blog?
