Digital art. digitally fine. finally digital. fine digital art. Saturday June 19th 2010, 5:10 pm. Specialties: Architect, landscape architect, performance and installation artist. Found love for art: When his father took him to museums and operas as a child. Website: Interested me, no portraying information other than views/slides of his artwork. His works seem dreary, and surpass a melancholy tone. My favorite piece: Interior of United Bamboo Store. Comments Off on Vito Acconci. Comments Off on Animation.

Digital art. digitally fine. finally digital. fine digital art. Saturday June 05th 2010, 11:31 am. My favorite piece after looking through his work is called “It stands decided”. It seems busy, and engaging, and I love it. After looking at this piece, I wondered how long it took to complete, and how he thought of the design. Did he base it off something? Is it a replica of something? And more importantly, how did he come up with the title? Comments Off on Matthew Ritchie. Feed for comments on this post.

Digital art. digitally fine. finally digital. fine digital art. Saturday June 05th 2010, 2:51 pm. His video works are displayed in museums, galleries and cinemas worldwide. The one below, Acceptance, is the one that interested me the most. Not only does his artwork get published and public attention, but his pieces of writing do as well. They are translated in different languages to accommodate different cultures. Comments Off on Bill Viola. Feed for comments on this post. Theme by Theron Parlin.

Digital art. digitally fine. finally digital. fine digital art. Sunday June 13th 2010, 2:20 pm. These are two images I found to catch my eye the most. Clearly they are greatly edited, and the second one is a video. The colors in the airplane one as astounding, and the symmetry is what drew my eye in the most. Comments Off on Paul Pfeiffer. Monday May 24th 2010, 8:58 am. Jenny Holzer projects short, biting texts on city buildings, transforming normal pieces of landscape into canvases for artworks. The texts, which mimic the use of billboards and LED screens in advertising, usually convey a political message, ranging from feminist issues to speaking out against war, oppression, and violence. Holzer used to write her own texts, but since 1993 has been using texts written by others. Comments Off on Jenny Holzer. Feed for comments on this post.
