Colors Of The Garden: May 2010

http://colorsofthegarden.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Snips of this and that about gardening and daily living in the country. Sunday, May 16, 2010. Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day - May 2010. Not only has our spring weather been topsy turvy, with hot summer temperatures one weekend and rain, wind and snow the next, but life in general has been a roller coaster ride for us lately. On May 6th my dear hubby was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and diagnosed with pneumonia. We're praising The Lord for his loving care. There are still some tantalizing tulips pr...

http://colorsofthegarden.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Snips of this and that about gardening and daily living in the country. Sunday, May 15, 2011. Garden Bloggers' Bloom Day - May 2011. There's no shortage of colorful blooms in our garden on this May Bloom Day. Since most or the color is provided by glorious tulips that's what I'm going to concentrate on, and later, in another post, I'll show what else is blooming. We've had lots of rainy, cloudy days and rain is pouring down again tonight. I'm glad I didn't wait until today to take photos for Bloom Day.

Colors Of The Garden: Red-bellied Woodpecker - Diligent Dad

http://colorsofthegarden.blogspot.com/2011/08/red-bellied-woodpecker-diligent-dad.html

Snips of this and that about gardening and daily living in the country. Friday, August 12, 2011. Red-bellied Woodpecker - Diligent Dad. Sometimes I spot him as early as 6:30 AM if I'm lucky. But Mr. Red-belly can be seen at various times throughout the day, diligently gathering food for his hungry offspring. Such a hard worker! He carries a sunflower seed from the feeder over to the nearby sugar maple and cracks it open. At first I thought he was gathering his own breakfast until one morning I spotted.

jellyhead: December 2010

http://jellyheadrambles.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 12, 2010. Beginning all over again. How can it be the end of December already? I'm sure it was June just the other day. And I'm not alone in this sense of bewilderment . I've heard this sentiment repeated countless times by others. How could the entire year. Have all but slipped away? My heart is beating faster than usual, and I have a nagging sensation that I've forgotten something. To be honest, I didn't even totally forget - I just didn't quite bother to do. I wish you joy in 2011.
