Kristen's Kilimanjaro Climb. Raising Funds for Outward Bound Canada. January 15, 2014. I am just waking up for Day #2. #1 was a complete success. We drove through the town of Moshi, and it was wonderful. I loved seeing the local people working and playing and noting cultural differences. We then started our hiking. It was 12 km, 1000′ elevation, and took 5:40. I felt great. I was tired at the end…but no headaches and aches/pains or blisters. Ready for Day 2. Guest on Destinations at MCC.

I cannot explain what an amazing experience this has been. Today we had our final day in Moshi. We went into town and did a little shopping. We went out for lunch at a wonderful cafe. Saturday, February 22, 2014. Our girlie is 3 months old tomorrow. It's incredible to think that such a short time ago, we had not yet met. And now we love her more than we thought possible. And 25 months ago:. Another human being is absolutely astounding. How can we be so familiar with her noises, faces, little fingers and toes and still sometimes have no clue why she does what she does? Monday, 15 June 2009. I'm starting to have the DT's. I'm not having my usual in take of carbs! It's been about 3 weeks where I have had significantly less carbs than normal and. I love and miss them! Mashed potato, pastry, pasta, rice, cereal, bread and so on. I'm finding it really difficult to get through the day without having or having very little carbs.
