June 1, 2014. Lilacs, at the famous lilac festival in Rochester. Alyssums, one of my favorites! Lantana, also one of my favorites. (seeing a theme here) I especially like this color combination… like a sunset. : ). Rocket weed ALL through the woods. Some people call it “dame’s rocket”. Virginia Creeper. Creeping. Longwood Gardens (a few months ago). December 18, 2014. This place was beautiful! I’m glad I forgot to post these pictures until now, because they are better appreciated in the gray of December.🙂. I wasn’t going to comment, but I have to point out that the size of this water lily is not your imagination. Some of its other leaves were 6 feet (approx. 2 meters) across! August 28, 2014. Excuse my tardiness in posting! I’ve had a busy summer. In June we went to the Adirondack mountains for a few days. It was beautiful as usual! There have been many picturesque moments here at home too. : ). One day as I was in our back field, this little guy came over to investigate me. I just happened to be holding my camera! Since when does that happen? My flower garden. This was a good year for it! Crown vetch in the foreground, and cinquefoil in the background. Enter your comment here.
