Bellingers Blog: March 2014
http://bellingers.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
A small detail of my work, my family, and the place I live. Saturday, 15 March 2014. Lookout for the small print. I had used a DYMO when I was young and started to look for something like that - I eventually found a solution a Brother label maker that prints thermally onto removable sticking tapes! I am quite pleased at the result. Mind the small print. Links to this post. Posted by Hylton Bellinger. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Lookout for the small print. No, our faith is not the same! Bellingers Blog: August 2013
http://bellingers.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
A small detail of my work, my family, and the place I live. Wednesday, 14 August 2013. As a family we went on a short break to Deal. We fell in love with the place when we stayed in the London City Mission's Walmer house, which has since been sold. We, as a result, have purchased a tent and camped in Kingsdown International. The Island grows at a rate of about 2000 people per year. When we got back to the Café some lady arrived from one of the estates and wanted help with nosiy neighbours. Noise ...It is...

Bellingers Blog: Resisting peer pressure
http://bellingers.blogspot.com/p/resisting-peer-pressure.html
A small detail of my work, my family, and the place I live. This past week I have had a wonderful opening up of my understanding of myself. This comes through a conversation with a friend, a young man who was going out for a drink. I have been reflecting for a long time on my formative years and those teenage years too. The reason I was feeling so uncomfortable is this, I have always been telling a lie. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). No, our faith is not the same! No, our faith is not the same! Today the ca...

Bellingers Blog: June 2014
http://bellingers.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
A small detail of my work, my family, and the place I live. Thursday, 19 June 2014. May began, as usual with our church weekend away, which I believe to have been one of the best ever! A highlight was having both Hannah and Lisa braving the stage to perform in the talent show, and Lisa getting a joint first place, Hannah's lot getting second! A Garden in total submission! Bellingers Blog: Basis of Faith
http://bellingers.blogspot.com/p/basis-of-belief-in-bib.html
A small detail of my work, my family, and the place I live. I think it is necessary for myself to have some sort of permanent text to revert to for the basis of my faith. It is not something necessarily doctrinal, rather personal, something that gives a reason for my faith. As I observe and know the world I see many things, but primarily chaos and order. Wherever I see chaos I see some form of selfishness behind it. Wherever I see order I see some form of obedience and sacrifice. None of the things that ...

Bellingers Blog: Community cures loneliness and literacy
http://bellingers.blogspot.com/2015/01/community-cures-loneliness-and-literacy.html
A small detail of my work, my family, and the place I live. Saturday, 24 January 2015. Community cures loneliness and literacy. In the evening we all went to see 'Peter Pan' the pantomime. I think we may have established a tradition - it was great fun and worth doing again. We also had a nice visit by Virginia, Lars, Maxime and Amelia and went ice skating with them. Now the back garden needs work - it is a mess, different layers of concrete, paving and earth. In order for it to be useful this summer ...

Bellingers Blog: February 2014
http://bellingers.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
A small detail of my work, my family, and the place I live. Saturday, 15 February 2014. Guess what these are! At the end of January we were joined by two volunteers, Emily from USA and Hannah from Jersey. They have got very involved in our work and are good support as well as being able to enjoy the craic. They have also been able to go on short trips to Ireland, Scotland etc. I think it is a good experience for them, a great opportunity to find out a bit about yourself and others. Links to this post.

Bellingers Blog: July 2014
http://bellingers.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
A small detail of my work, my family, and the place I live. Wednesday, 30 July 2014. Global News effects us locally. It is great to know that this lady will be educating my daughter for another year. I also took Hannah to her sports day and came second in the fathers race, only being beaten by her teacher! These events are so great to attend and it is so good that my work allows it. I only wish more dad's would be able to do the same. Tough topic for Henk. Links to this post. Posted by Hylton Bellinger.

Bellingers Blog: December 2014
http://bellingers.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
A small detail of my work, my family, and the place I live. Tuesday, 9 December 2014. One thing to keep in mind when using an online service, be sure to keep a copy of your document. I have written a long post a while back and then hit the back button, only to lose all that I had written! One step forward, two steps back. Anyway, I am now using Kingsoft Office, a free alternative to Microsoft Office and it is really, exceptionally good, I recommend it and if you are looking for it, here’s a link. My daug...
