The One-Thousand: Some Things Old Are New Again
http://theonethousand.blogspot.com/2015/08/some-things-old-are-new-again.html
Sunday, August 09, 2015. Some Things Old Are New Again. I haven't been working a lot on new fiction the last couple of months. What I have been doing in the non-Mango fiction world is rewriting old stories so as to give them a better chance in the cold cruel editorial world. I don't know if I've made these stories great, but I do know I've made them a hell of a lot better than they were. I still haven't finished MuchoMangoMayo! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Enjoy My Work. ENJOY IT!

The One-Thousand: June 2015
http://theonethousand.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html

When I finish a story I'm hot to get it out into the world. I see flaws in it, and think, "Yeah, but look at all the genius in there. That'll drip down and fill in all the flaw cracks. Art isn't finished, it's abandoned. I need to move on to the next story.". I've never been good at sacrificing now for something better later. If y...

The One-Thousand: February 2015
http://theonethousand.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Just finished and shipped off story 155 of The One-Thousand! If I had any hair, I'd be able to feel the wind in it! This one was a shortie that I conceived of yesterday and finished today. It's a story that would be perfectly at home at Beware the Hairy Mango. Though it's twice as long as most of those) and I'm sending it to a very non-Mango magazine. Actually, every. Magazine is a very non-Mango magazine. Links to this post. Beware the Hairy Mango. Sunday, February 22, 2015.

The story of one girl in the world). It's a Dog's Life: The Quills Edition. Dec 20th, 2010 at 10:04 AM. Our dog is a bit of a dichotomy. Last night we got our answer: PORCUPINE. It breaks your heart. Brent and I ended up sitting on the cold, snowy road with him, holding him still and comforting him, while my father-in-law ran for his truck. As a pet owner I can't imagine something like that becoming rote. Nor would I ever want to. Gunn is my first dog, who knew it would be such an adventure?
