On 24 六月 2016. 二 一三年，殘疾人口的貧窮率在政策介入前後分別為45.3%和29.5%，較同期整體人口的19.9%及14.5%為高 在18至64歲適齡工作的殘疾人士中，從事經濟活動及失業的百分比分別為39.1%及6.7%，遠遜於同期整體人口的72.8%及3.7%。 關於 i 整體人口、 ii 殘疾人口及 iii 視障人口的統計數字，政府可否告知本會. 一 二 一三年，上述三類人口及當中持有專上教育學歷人士的就業數據 包括失業人口、非從事經濟活動人口及就業不足人口的數字及百分比 分別為何，並按年齡組別分別使用與表一相同格式的表格列出分項數字. 二 二 一三年，上述三類人口中持有專上教育學歷人士的職業及每月就業收入的分布數字分別為何，並按 i 非學位持有人及 ii 學位持有人分別使用與表二相同格式的表格列出分項數字 及. 三 政府的政策目標是為殘疾人士 其中包括視障人士 ，提供訓練及支援服務，使他們憑自己的能力 而非因其殘疾 覓得合適的工作，並同時為僱主提供協助，以及致力推廣傷健共融的社會。 Ii 向領取 高額傷殘津貼 並從事受薪工作的合資格殘疾人士提供每月5,000元的額外津貼用作聘請照顧者。

On 12 一月 2018. 立法會福利事務委員會於剛過去的星期一 一月八日 舉行了一次公聽會，討論關於 香港康復計畫方案 檢討諮詢的相關事宜，標誌着已經拖延數年的諮詢工作快將展開。 公眾對於 方案 未必有深入認識，然而，當中 康復 一詞已經令人知道政府對殘疾人士政策的落後思維。 對上一次 方案 的檢討工作距今已經超過十年，亦都是中國政府簽署聯合國 殘疾人權利公約 後的第一次殘疾人士政策規劃方案，隨着公約的落實，以及社會對殘疾人士需要的意識有所提升，我們對於相關政策規劃的理念、方向和內容都抱有更高的期望。 拒以 康復 和 福利 作政策主導. 通過 方案 作殘疾人士政策作規劃的方式可以追溯至七十年代，當中得出的規劃文件都配以 口號式 的主題，但缺乏前瞻性的理念，未能帶領不同政策議題達到一致的目的和願景，發展進度未能配合社會及人口變遷。 但是， 方案 一直以 康復 為本位，政策制定者期望通過政策及服務等，以 康復 的概念，提升殘疾人士的自我能力，好讓他們融入社會。 On 22 十二月 2017.
