Colyton Science College: October 2005

http://www.cgsscience.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html

Friday, October 21, 2005. Last week saw the re-opening of the William Jowett Chemistry Block at Colyton Grammar School. The school architecture of the early 1970s was rarely attractive and that was especially true of those facilities such as the Jowett Block, constructed in response to the raising of the school leaving age in 1972. The project was mainly funded from the school’s initial Specialist School Grant. Posted by Paul Evans : Deputy Head at 2:52 pm. Wednesday, October 19, 2005. Y9 students at Col...

Colyton Science College: Physicists to Birmingham.

http://www.cgsscience.blogspot.com/2005/12/physicists-to-birmingham.html

Friday, December 02, 2005. On 2 November a group of 42 Year 12 Physics pupils set off bright and early to visit the University of Birmingham. In the morning they visited the Physics Department and attended a lecture on developments in Quantum Physics. This was followed by tours of the Space Research team and the High Temperature Superconductor section. High is a relative term here, with the liquid nitrogen demonstrations being at the lowest temperatures the pupils had ever experienced.

thursdaynights : class in turquoise

If we hold on together. I know our dreams will never die. Dreams see us through to forever. Where clouds roll by. For you and i. Staring out at the rain with a heavy heart. It's the end of the world in my mind. Then your voice pulls me back. Like a wake-up call. I've been looking for the answer. I couldn't see that it was right there. But now I know what I didn't know. Because you live and breathe. Because you make me believe in myself. When nobody else can help. Because you live girl. My world (my world).
