Elek Mathe, English teacher. April 9, 2010. Somehow I thought it was a boy.) He’s at school by now, I thought five or six years later. Then secondary school; later, perhaps university. He’ll be 24 this July. I hope he’s fine. Perhaps he’s taking his first steps towards a great career. I suppose I’ll never know. But for some reason I think he’s fine. And at the end of July this year, perhaps there will be someone looking at a hospital entrance in Budapest as we leave for home with our daughter. To fool ya...

No flow – Csíkszentmihályi in Budapest | Elek Mathe, English teacher
http://elekmathe.com/2009/11/08/no-flow-csikszentmihalyi-in-budapest
Elek Mathe, English teacher. Leonard Cohen in Budapest. No flow – Csíkszentmihályi in Budapest. November 8, 2009. So, let’s take stock: the event was advertised as “from 10 to 12”. It started almost half an hour late. It ended slightly more than a quarter of an hour early (before 11:45). Csíkszentmihályi talked for less than 40 minutes, saying absolutely nothing new, then answered questions from the audience for about 20 minutes. A total disappointment.
