Contrast Culture Method (CCM). An Intercultural Training Approach. 8226; History of CCM. This specific training was finally documented in the HumRRO Technical Report 69-7 “Simulating Intercultural Communication through the Role Play” (May 1969) with the theoretical background as well as the practical part, the role play. Since then CCM has been widely used by the Army, other main US governmental and non-governmental agencies, business councils and many other organizations.

Contrast Culture Method (CCM). An Intercultural Training Approach. CCM will run a 2-hour workshop at the 9th Annual JALT Pan-SIG Conference. The venue is Osaka Gakuin University, Suita city, Osaka. The theme is Learner Perspectives. At the 24th annual conference of SIETAR Japan with the theme, “Intercultural Communication: Past, Present and Future,” CCM did an overview of CCM’s past, present and future.
