Bearing Down on Boodlelandia. On reclaiming abundance, and stuff like that. My Favorite English Resources. Who Has Time for Working? September 11, 2011. All this summer of Funemployment. I’ve been plagued by a common paradox. Of the unemployed; loving the time to explore new things, and improve my skills, weighed against the need to be making money, and doing something constructive. Today is a good example. Of how my days usually go, without the structure of work to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Why can’t an xMOOC be more like a cMOOC ? | Connection not Content
https://gbl55.wordpress.com/2013/01/27/why-cant-an-xmooc-be-more-like-a-cmooc
A Blog for MOOCs and Other Animals. Why can’t an xMOOC be more like a cMOOC? I’ve joined the Edinburgh University Introduction to Philosophy. Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). This is an ‘xMOOC’, a term used to describe the ‘instructivist’ MOOCs that are usually given by existing colleges and universities from platforms such as Coursera. However, I would like to see xMOOCs become more learner centred and open like the earlier Connectivist MOOCs. CMOOCs are very peculiar beasts. 8216; by José Bogado.

Tuesday, January 18, 2011. The pipe is more important than the content within the pipe. I just finished reading George Siemens, Connectivism: A Learning Theory for the Digital Age. There were several ideas in this paper that really crystallized some thoughts I have had running around in my head for a while. But one of the sentences that I really like is The pipe is more important than the content within the pipe. Links to this post. Monday, January 17, 2011. CCK11 - My Second MOOC. Links to this post.
