Moving in the Moment. Thursday, February 23, 2012. Please Take Two Minute and Read This. This was posted to facebook yesterday by our friend Kerri Johnson who we went to school with in Mozambique. It is such a great model to us of what normal, everyday ministry can look like in America. There are times I feel the Holy Spirit prompting me to talk to someone but I don't obey. Think if Kerri hadn't . . . Thank You Jesus We PRAISE YOU LORD! Wednesday, February 22, 2012. Disturb us, Lord, when. In strength, c...

Moving in the Moment. Friday, December 23, 2011. This Christmas there is not one pine tree in sight, no snow (we're used to that), no Christmas lights, no wrapping paper, in fact we can't even get our hands on construction paper! I just wanted to share with you a few of Josiah's 'hand- crafted' Mozambian toys this Christmas. He couldn't have been more excited if they came in a shiny box from from Toys- R- Us. His sling- shot . . . watch out! Any guesses what this is? Saturday, December 17, 2011. Radical ...

Moving in the Moment. Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Our mosquito net (they seem to only come in one size here) and we've killed 5 fist- sized poisonous spiders in the last 2 days. The exciting thing is that I feel less fearful than I used to. Each fear faced feels like a victory, knowing that we are still moving forward and not remaining paralyzed. I feel like I’ve been living out the words of Joyce Myer, “Do it afraid! 8221; I came across this story and thought it was profound. . . Saturday, August 27, 2011.

Moving in the Moment: Father's Day Marathon
http://movinginthemoment.blogspot.com/2012/06/fathers-day-marathon.html
Moving in the Moment. Tuesday, June 19, 2012. The race was in Vancouver, Washington, just across the river from Portland. At the starting line Josiah started crying and said "I'll miss you daddy". I love the emotion in this photo. We cheered for Jason at the 14 mile mark and he looked really fresh and strong. He was smiling and was probably in 12th place, running a pace that would finish him around 3:05, qualifying him for the Boston Marathon. June 19, 2012 at 9:48 PM.
