Friday, October 3, 2014. Alice the story teller. Alice has always been a good story teller. Lately I've been recording her stories so I can type them up and save them. Alan managed to capture this little gem while I was out with Elsie. Somehow just the transcript doesn't do it justice. The elephant. and a kid one and a Daddy one and Mommy one. And a baby one. Everyone in the Jungle. Beware in the Jungle! And now you aren't! But there where these things! But someone was walking to the jungle!

Thursday, January 1, 2015. I started cutting out the pieces sometime in February after I finished Alice's quilt. I slowly started sewing the blocks together whenever I had a spare minute to work on it. It took me a good while to get them all done. Then the quilt took a break for a while. It was summer, and somehow it is harder to work on quilts in the warm weather. My twenty finished blocks sat on a shelf taunting me for a long time. I finished it with two days to spare before my deadline!
