'Green'er Pastures: August 2011
http://betsycgreen.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 1, 2011. Our next big family adventure happened in February, but December to February is a long time to go with no pictures, so here are three of my faves from that time period! Here is V playing in the leaves in our front yard. Can you believe that all those leaves came from just ONE oak tree! Such a handsome boy! On a hike at Guadalupe River State Park. There is NO telling what they are talking about - maybe nothing, although that's not likely since V is involved! Posted by betsy green.

Sunday, July 31, 2011. After a week at Garner and in Fredericksburg, everyone returned to our house for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We traditionally allow one present to be opened on Christmas Eve, and miraculously, it is ALWAYS Vaughn's Christmas pj's! However, this year, we allowed him ONE gift of choice, along with the "pj present". He selected the biggest bag under the tree - with his name on it, and inside was A PILLOW PET! Big Pillow Pet Love! Helping Nonni with her gifts. . . After camping at...

I am so glad my puppy and my boy have each other! Posted by betsy green. We spent this Mother's Day in Arp, with Jason's parents. While there are LOTS of fun things to do at Nonni and Pop's, when the weather is good and the water level is right, there is really only ONE thing to do! Helping Pop hook up the boat. There's only O...

Thursday, November 1, 2012. One thing Jason is - that I am NOT - is strategic - and one thing he loves to do is play STRATEGIC games - like Monopoly, Chess, and Checkers. This particular night (June 15, 2011) he and Vaughn were playing a rousing game - and Vaughn walked away the winner - and only with a LITTLE coaching from Daddy! LOOK at that face! And to the victor. . . go the spoils! Posted by betsy green. Hiking at Landa Park. I took my camera along. 65279;. 65279;. Posted by betsy green.

Sunday, June 12, 2011. This year, the week of Christmas, our family did something a little out of the ordinary, but I hope we started a tradition that we revisit for MANY years to come! We loaded up our fifth-wheel (complete with Christmas decorations! And we went camping! This year we chose Garner State Park - a park we have camped at before and loved. Here is the view of the Frio River from our campsite, just as the full moon was coming over the tops of the Cypress trees. The Christmas decorations I.
