The Sunday after our epic Yorkshire Dales tour, we were surprised to find the relatively gentle West Suffolk terrain hard on the legs. The intermittant rain felt familiar though. We rode eastwards towards Stowmarket as far as Buxhall, for an expensive but delicious lunch - beautifully presented and with excellent service, in the Crown. Two points to note:. And after two or three weekly sessions, rides on consecutive days are manageable, although painful at first on the second day. Ladies' rides from Maglia Rosso.
