http://missjewels.blogspot.com/2008/08/girl-stuff.html
Diamonds in the Rough. If nothing else, it's important to me. Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Ord have to do with a boy? That would give a lot away, don't you think? There's only one boy in my life. Are you a girly. Occasionally. I'm feminine, but not helpless. I don't like to carry things, but you can fit a big book in a big purse, plus a water bottle! Absolutely not, in anyone I know personally. It's interesting in fiction. Well no, but if I thought so I probably wouldn't be. Do you call anybo. Se it says ".

Diamonds in the Rough: Sick: Ick
http://missjewels.blogspot.com/2008/03/sick-ick.html
Diamonds in the Rough. If nothing else, it's important to me. Saturday, March 15, 2008. Well anyway, I've had an average of 3-4 colds per year the past three years. I've become a handwashing fanatic and really quite the germaphobe. I can't imagine how sick I'd have been if I wasn't! So all this year I have been exposed to many more hugs, (literally) snotty hands and sneezes, and rather ill kiddos. Including several cases of strep and flu! Not that I'm complaining- -quite the contrary!

Diamonds in the Rough: June 2008
http://missjewels.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Diamonds in the Rough. If nothing else, it's important to me. Wednesday, June 04, 2008. Well, it's again been a ridiculously long time since I have posted on here. Even Adam commented on it, so I know it's true! And this is a true talent to me: she is the one person I know who read more quickly, and more widely, than I did. (This has changed some now because I am so busy, but Aaron had three kids to contend with! There was always something going on in her life! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Well, if you're...

Diamonds in the Rough: February 2008
http://missjewels.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Diamonds in the Rough. If nothing else, it's important to me. Sunday, February 24, 2008. A quick post to wrap up the weekend:. Sat am we drove home so I could go to book club, which was wonderful as ever. I really need that time for two reasons: 1/ girl time. I miss that! I am blessed in many ways, and lifelong friends are near the top of that list. And I stayed up late for the first time in quite a while. Good family time this afternoon and we've been watching the Oscars this evening. I'm trying to ...

Diamonds in the Rough: July 2008
http://missjewels.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Diamonds in the Rough. If nothing else, it's important to me. Sunday, July 20, 2008. We've returned from a journey. If I had been a bit more insightful when planning it, I might have realized that it was pretty close to the length and placement of the Oregon Trail. Boy was I glad I wasn't in a covered wagon, though! Since we did far too much stuff to summarize it all, here are some of the high points for me:. The Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD: very corny, but kind of fun! I ate popcorn of course. It's tour...

Diamonds in the Rough: Note to Legislators:
http://missjewels.blogspot.com/2008/03/note-to-legislators.html
Diamonds in the Rough. If nothing else, it's important to me. Tuesday, March 18, 2008. When teachers wake up with nightmares about the MAP test, three weeks prior to administering said test, something in the system is broken. I definitely don't get paid enough for such stress. For what it's worth, this teacher did not go back to sleep, but rather used all that extra time to go to school extra early and work MORE. Maybe that's all part of the master scheme.
