The McMic Clan in the LB. Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Uncle Dean was in town on business last night and Ivy sure had fun visiting with him. He was in a fog from nightmare air travel this last week with canceled flights from the East coast ice storm, stuck in Florida for the weekend, and then missed flights and lost luggage arriving here in L.A. Ivy really didn't like the turkey and all the fixin's that much but she sure loved the butternut squash pie! Thanks again for the great recipe Chris! She decided to color instead of eat dinner. I thought this photo was a great illustration of Ivy's size right now. Last Friday she had her 1-year check-up. She weighed in at a whopping 17 lbs. 15 oz. and 29 1/2 inches. Ivy didn't really get the Christmas thing of giving and receiving gifts this year, but she did really dig seeing snowmen and Santa everywhere. She even learned to sing "Santa Clause is coming to town." and I still have to sing Jingle Bells to her every night now to get her to go to sleep. Yes, she asks for it by name.
