And other thoughts and things. This past weekend my girlfriends and I got together to celebrate one of our own getting married. We spent a night in Salt Lake City, eating food, chatting, and mostly just laughing hysterically. It was good for the soul I tell you. Be simple, always supporting. Yet, more often than I'd like to admit, I find myself in an imaginary competition, in which I am the only player, with these woman who I claim to love. (and I do, I really do). Comparison, it's the root of all evil.

And other thoughts and things. My sister-in-law Caitie got married a couple of weeks ago. But, of course, things have a way of falling into place, and they did with Derek. The wedding day was beautiful. Perfect weather, lots of great company, and even greater food. (waffle's can be found below). Eventually welcomed me into the family with open arms, and we have been close ever since. I am so happy for her, and Derek. Three cheers for marriage! But really, this was probably my favorite part.

It was a good year, the highlights being a new job for both me and Zane, several trips to California that never get tired, too many late nights watching Batman and Superman cartoons, and lots of laughter and emotional breakdowns that come along with being young, in love, and penniless. Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Hello my lovelies (:. SO summer has been, for the most part, uneventful. I have been working NON STOP. Ohh yeah, I got a second job! It seems I am doomed to work in food until i actually get a professional job. I work at this fancy restaurant called the CopperMill. I do catering events, or banquets when they are at the restaurants. These past two weeks I have been down in Orem catering EFY at UVU (so many acronyms! 60 hour weeks are nice, i suppose. Working hard on the way there!

Wear everything i own at least once. Get a big solo. Go on a TON of dates. Join a club or two. Wear my hair naturally at least once a week. Cry over graduating at least once. I was not used to the course load I was/am taking and I didnt have a rhythm or any type of way to handle what life was throwing at me. But, as Caitlyn and I like to say: things are looking up.
