Making Mixtapes-A bit about me. The first time I ever blogged I was just graduating high school. Now 7 years later life has totally changed for me and I still really enjoy writing! Come all you stumblers who believe Love rules. . .: October 2010
http://sarahannesgarden.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 25, 2010. Last winter I read lots of wonderful books - My Name is Asher Lev. The Cellist of Sarajevo. And The Birth House. To name a few. Even this summer, while the plants were doing the hard work of growing, I got in a few new ones - particularly The Forgotten Garden. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. But this fall, I'm excited to announce, it looks like I'm settling down with some long lost science fiction. I read C.S. Lewis' Out of the Silent Planet. I just couldn't help myself. A few ...

Come all you stumblers who believe Love rules. . .: April 2009
http://sarahannesgarden.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 11, 2009. Let's talk about worms. . . My little wormy friends. Early last summer I got introduced to vermicomposting through the people at Garbage Delight. It's this ingenious little idea of keeping a gambit of red wigglers in a rubbermaid container in your kitchen, allowing a person to compost inside. Since winter is 11 months of the year here, or so it feels mid-February, the idea of a worm bin to eat up small amounts of my veggie scraps sounded wonderful. So I pulled out the tarp, and ...

Between un-being and being. A suffusion of self: may this blog be an exploration of moving from the embittered, world-weary self to the true Christ-as-center self. The winding ways of the Lord. A misery not known →. Whirl wind: whirled and wound. June 2, 2012. Wind, the perceptible natural movement of air. Wind, to wrap around. Wound, past tense of wind. Wound, to inflict an injury on someone. Wound, a physical injury. No, a person who has moved many times understands the danger of expectations. In tryin...

Come all you stumblers who believe Love rules. . .: February: The thick of things
http://sarahannesgarden.blogspot.com/2010/02/february-thick-of-things.html
Friday, February 5, 2010. February: The thick of things. I am a horrible blogger. I do, however, like the option of writing something, sometime, if I wanted to. So my blog still stands after months of silence. I feel in the thick of things, this February. I'm waiting, and I've been waiting, but I don't know what for. This silence was liberating at first, but now it feels numbing. Waiting needs expectancy yet I feel like perhaps I have lost my original purpose. February 17, 2010 at 1:29 PM. I am a 25 year...
