http://youdontseethateveryday-jules.blogspot.com/p/recipes.html
You Don't See That Every Day. A peek inside one family's crazy world. I have a few recipes I have shared in posts, so I'll try and put them all together on this page:. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1 cup quick oats. 1 teaspoon baking powder. Fill muffin cups. Bake at 400 for 25 minutes. Makes 12 muffins. I spooned in a little mixture into the muffin cup, added jam, then covered it with the rest of the mix.). Here is the Granola Bar. http://youdontseethateveryday-jules.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
You Don't See That Every Day. A peek inside one family's crazy world. Wednesday, November 26, 2014. This time of year there is a lot of talk about turkeys, and oh, yeah being thankful for all we have. I have read numerous articles on how to help your children, or yourself, be thankful! But it really hit home for me this week. But first, a little of the back-story: two weeks ago I went in to the doctor for my first ever exam-for-women-who-are-over-40. You who are over 40 know what I'm talking about! That ...

You Don't See That Every Day: Independence
http://youdontseethateveryday-jules.blogspot.com/2015/07/independence.html
You Don't See That Every Day. A peek inside one family's crazy world. Thursday, July 9, 2015. I know, I know, it was last week that we celebrated Independence Day around here. Life has been busy. Maybe I should re-title my blog to that phrase! Instead, I took the younger girls to a parade. We sat at the end of the parade route (because we decided a little late to go to it) and we sat. And we sat. And we waited. Nearly an hour on the curbside (because why would we come prepared with chairs? Faith, Grace a...

Heidi M. Thomas. Author, Editor, Writing Teacher. When I began to write, some twenty-five years later, my writing coach said, You write from place. It shapes your characters and your stories. Now, some forty years of writing later, he has proved right. My first published novel,. Nowhere Else To Go,. Takes place in Chicago, where I grew up, and at its core are the sensibilities of those who live in cultural, racial, mix of cities created by the great migrations of the Twentieth Century. And Minnesota vaca...

You Don't See That Every Day: March 2015
http://youdontseethateveryday-jules.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
You Don't See That Every Day. A peek inside one family's crazy world. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. It's the first day after spring break. The older kids are back at school. The youngest has been falling apart all day. I didn't get enough sleep last night. And the other girls only had a very light day of schoolwork today (another nice benefit to homeschool! But the fun of spring break and the memories made are worth it. There was the requisite trip to the library to stock up on books for free time. After tour...

http://youdontseethateveryday-jules.blogspot.com/2015/07/amazing.html
You Don't See That Every Day. A peek inside one family's crazy world. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. What made your weekend amazing? That question came on the radio today, and I didn't have to stop long to think of all the great happenings of my past week. But what made it amazing, is the people. I was with during the time. Last week was Sports Camp. All five of the kids were involved; the 3 older ones volunteered, and the 2 younger ones attended (and loved it! This has never before occurred in my life. What I ...
