http://ahunt-dulceetdecorum.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
In Her Majesty's Name. Dulce et Decorum Est. Friday, June 13, 2014. I'm currently in the UK for a brief vacation. We stopped in Bath a couple of days ago and one of the exhibits talked about the XX Legion. Their symbol was the boar and there is the remains of a carving as well as a re-creation of what it would have looked like when it was created. An actual boar of the XXth Legion, recovered at Bath. The Police sketch artist version of the boar. Links to this post. Tuesday, June 03, 2014. In a week the f...

Dulce et Decorum Est: Entry 17 - Vth Analogue Painting Challenge - Hot Bonus round
http://ahunt-dulceetdecorum.blogspot.com/2015/02/agent-lake-is-28mm-model-from-brigade.html
In Her Majesty's Name. Dulce et Decorum Est. Monday, February 09, 2015. Entry 17 - Vth Analogue Painting Challenge - Hot Bonus round. Agent Lake is a 28mm model from Brigade Games (US), Pulp Heroines. She's wearing the classic cocktail and .45 combo that was so much the fashion in the 1960's. The model was clean and easy to clean up. Simple but with just the right amount of detail. She was a nice paint. Clean lines and nice detail. The dress has nice folds, though she is a bit busty. 1500 of 1500 points.

In Her Majesty's Name. Dulce et Decorum Est. Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Entry 18 - 3 Wargames Factory Celt Chariots. This week's entry is three 28mm Celt chariots from Wargames Factory. This is the contents of a single box, so good value for money, but craptastic sculpts. Three chariots for Hail Caesar. These models are part of my Celt army for Hail Caesar. Top view, to see the groundwork. Side view showing the wicker chariot sides. It's hard to fit two dudes in the cart, so there's two gymnasts. The le...

In Her Majesty's Name. Dulce et Decorum Est. Wednesday, February 11, 2015. Entry 16 - 11 28mm Dwarfs. This entry is the rest of the army from last week. These are the eleven models that I wasn't able to prime until right before the weekend. These are all metal sculpts, more Khazad Guard and Iron Guard, along with a single captain. The Captain is a very nice sculpt. At times it can be hard to tell the leaders from the rank and file but this model is unique in the army. The beaten bronze shield. I used to ...

This is another project i started about 10 years ago, originally for warmaster ancients, but now ill be using them for To the strongest, and Impetus. All the miniatures in the Roman force are pendraken 10mm, except a couple of cavalry men that are irregular miniatures. Again, this army was designed for warmaster ancients, but has been rebased for Impetus or TTS. Looking good, Dont...
