Short sharp bursts (of flavor). First blush →. January 17, 2011. Amidst the chaos of a death and a wedding in one weekend, I got a phone call while stuck in gridlock traffic. It was an editor from SF Weekly. The San Francisco equivalent of the Village Voice or the Boston Phoenix. Before the conversation was over, I had a new job as a part-time writer for SF Foodie. The most-read food blog in the Bay Area! Anyway, I got the job. It doesn’t pay great but 100,000 (! People read this blog each week, and it&#...

At home with louloubean. Thursday, January 17, 2013. Trip to the library. I love our local library! It was built in 1909, with railroad baron money, and features a Tiffany glass window! The kids are big enough to sit by themselves while I select my books. This works very well! I even remembered my bag, so it was easy to keep us all together. We had a snow day yesterday, so we were all extra happy to have books. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Real-time Earth and Moon phase. View my complete profile.

Girly had a great day! Snowmobiled with her daddy, played dollies and coloring with mommy and fell asleep before 9! Labels: Home snow drums. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). at home with louloubean: Farewell bees 2012
http://athomewithlouloubean.blogspot.com/2012/12/farewell-bees-2012.html
At home with louloubean. Monday, December 17, 2012. Just took 15 and a half pounds of strained honey out of the last hive. Seems they dwindled and dwindled, due to the varroa destructor mite, and just finally couldn't keep warm enough for the winter. I sure learned a lot this year! And i am much more confident going into bees 2013, but a little sad they are gone here in 2012. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Real-time Earth and Moon phase. View my complete profile. At home with louloubean. Friday, January 11, 2013. What a great idea! An entire storefront filled with inflatable bouncers! This is probably our 10th visit, and the kiddos adore it. Monday, January 7, 2013. Http:/ www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/American Tree Sparrow/id. The feeders have been discovered by tree sparrows. the sparrows come in great clouds of birds, i would guess this flock is around 100. They aren't your normal sparrow. they come down from the arctic in winter, since it is much warmer here.

A person feels pretty lucky to have friends and family willing to re-arrange busy lives to be here. But I'm doubly lucky to have friends who help make a party fun by baking, cooking and cleaning up! At home with louloubean. Wednesday, January 2, 2013. It's almost passe in certain areas. The northeast and California coasts have recycled for years, as have European and Asian countries. But the middle of the country has only started, and in some places, they still aren't recycling. They should! Maybe this is the year America starts to seriously work on the problems of garbage! Glass is the most recyclable material. Here are some facts from earth911.com:. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ceo of house...
