Ah well, luckily a long way from the pickup pipe so I modified the windage tray slightly. This entry was posted in Performance upgrades. Turbo oil drain and inlet manifold. Now that the clutch has done one reasonable journey, one commute to work and one track day I felt it was time to write it up. Ok, so that’s not enough time to comment on the reliability of it but if that proves problematic I’ll come back and update this page. Never mind… can’t see it…. This was my biggest concern, and the reason I went for a 6 puck clut...

Westfield build, Mazda SDV. Tracking the entire project, from donor to build and beyond. Mapping by Skuzzle Motorsport. End of year review →. July 21, 2015. So, Friday was the moment of truth. Had I ruined the car? Would it be a nightmare to drive? Would it even make it to the end of the day? Once I was behind the orange Westfield (we’re at similar power/weight ratios) it dawned on me that I needed to learn to drive all over again. This time last year I did the same track day but with 130bhp, a...Then it...

Engine: really dead this time @ Strangely's Home

Engine: really dead this time. To be reborn better than ever! I've been thinking since my engine died after Donington. RIP at 65,000 miles). My choices were:. Fix my current engine. Junk it and replace with another K-Series. Sell the car and get something newer. Initially the most appealing option was the last one. I've loved the idea of bike-engined cars ever since the Rocket. And I was seriously tempted by a Caterham Blackbird for sale. I spoke to Dave Andrews. Gear is probably great for towing a carav...
