筑波大学生物多様性分類生態研究リサーチユニット2. 筑波大学生物多様性分類生態研究リサーチユニット2. 生物科学の発展には、生命現象を分子細胞系として分析的に捉える研究ともに、生物を多様性、生物間および生物環境の相互作用の観点から総合的に捉えようとする研究も欠かせません。私たちはこの立場から生物多様性分類生態リサーチユニットを立ち上げました。筑波大の生物系専攻は、生物多様性学、生態系研究において伝統的な蓄積があり、多様な生物群を対象とし生物多様性分類生態に関わる研究を精力的に展開してきました。ユニットの研究の発展は、生物科学のみならず、現代社会が抱える諸問題地球環境悪化、災害、エネルギー問題などを解決するのに不可欠な生物環境系のデーターを提供することにもなります。 H25 H30年度、菅平高原実験センターは教育関係共同利用拠点ナチュラルヒストリーに根ざした森と草原の生物多様性教育拠点認定されましたが、これは本リサーチユニットの活動の一部として実施されています。
