Later that day is poured rain so they made a fort and stayed under it all afternoon. To take a nap. Such fun! Posted by Betsy Marchant.

Sweet P and Baby L: November 2014
http://marchantbaby.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 24, 2014. There were fun props but it was hard enough to just fit the 4 of us in the booth. The boys were tucked in to bed at 7pm and I was not far behind them. Carter had some late night shenanigans with the neighbors that apparently involved him wearing his ski helmet all night. Fun times! Posted by Betsy Marchant. Sunday, November 23, 2014. Thankful for 6 months in this HOME! Our street via drone! We are the bottom right. Posted by Betsy Marchant. Wednesday, November 19, 2014. I made ...

Sweet P and Baby L: October 2014
http://marchantbaby.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2014. Carter worked late on Wednesday night so the boys and I attempted to carve a pumpkin by ourselves. Luke was totally grossed out with the inside of the pumpkin! I got one of those carving kits and, boy, did that mean some hard work for mom! Our witchy woman turned out okay though. We still had one more pumpkin to carve on Thursday night. Carter and the boys had a great time drawing and deciding upon their design. Somehow I missed a picture of the final product. The kids played ...

http://marchantbaby.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 27, 2015. First snow day of 2015. Afterwards we were happy to warm up with some hot chocolate and coffee. We were surprised (and still in our PJs) when one of our neighbors came by with some home made doughnuts! Posted by Betsy Marchant. Monday, January 26, 2015. Virginia celebrates Robert E Lee day. Combine that with MLK day and I'm the lucky recipient of a 5 day weekend! Posted by Betsy Marchant. I just looked at my phone and have slim pickings for posting. Posted by Betsy Marchant.

Sweet P and Baby L: December 2014
http://marchantbaby.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Christmas with the Marchants. We spent Christmas afternoon/evening at Carter's parents' house. I tried my "take a picture the second people walk in the door" method but two of the cousins weren't quite ready for pictures (Wesley and Tucker). The rest of these cousins are pretty cute, though and don't get to spend nearly enough time together! They were super excited. Imagine all nine of the cousins (and their parents and grandparents = 19 people) in one room opening presents!

Sweet P and Baby L: August 2014
http://marchantbaby.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 29, 2014. Luke's big boy bed. I have been looking for the perfect bed for Luke since before we moved. I hadn't found "the one" so we kept him in his crib for the first couple of months in the new house. One Sunday, I got the wise idea that I would try a pinterest project and make him an upholstered bed. I loaded the boys in the car and off to Ikea we went (Carter was at work). I still need to decorate the room, but at least our almost 4 year old isn't still sleeping in a crib! Escape from ...

Sweet P and Baby L: September 2014
http://marchantbaby.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 29, 2014. The beginning of apple season. Preston's class made baked apples last week and I went in to help! Another mother took pictures of all of the kids with her real camera so I hope to add those pictures soon, but in the meantime. The apple corer/peeler device was so cool that I went straight to Bed Bath and Beyond after I left the school and picked up one. Preston and Luke were responsible for making our dessert that night!
