Avocados Australia ensures a comprehensive R&D program on behalf of all Australian Avocado growers in partnership with HAL is undertaken. Through HAL, the Australian avocado industry is able to access matched funding from the Australian Government for all R&D activities. A call is made for projects on an annual or as-needs basis to meet the strategic goals of the industry . Each project that is submitted is assessed on its benefits to the national industry.
