Friday, June 24, 2011. Pan-Seared Feta Cheese with Sesame crust. 1 lb feta cheese. 2 pc Whole eggs. 1 cup sesame seeds. 1 cup all purpose flour. 188; tsp. Cayenne pepper. 1 cup Olive oil. 1 tbsp. Chives. Beat the eggs and a tablespoon of water in a small bowl. Mix the flour, cayenne pepper and the sliced chives in a separate bowl. Cut the feta with a cheese cutting bow into an inch thick pieces and dust with the flour mixture. Continue by dipping into the egg and then the sesame. Friday, June 24, 2011.

Thursday, April 21, 2011. Tsoureki Greek Easter bread. 4 1/2 - Cupsflour, divided. 1 1/2 Tbsp yeast. 1/2 C butter, softened. 2 Tbsp orange juice. 2 tsp orange zest. 2 tsp Vanilla extract. Heat milk to 115° F and pour into the bowl of mixer. Whisk in 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar and yeast. Combine well. Remove bowl and cover with plastic wrap; let stand in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Pre-heat oven to 350 F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Remove dough from bowl and knead dough into a ball.

Strain and cool for a day at room temperature. 12 Eggs (organic – brown). 1 qt red dye. In a stainless saucepan add the eggs and the red dye and simmer for 20 minutes.
