Happy new year →. December 27, 2016. As I’ve mentioned. I made my 2016 reading goals via the Challies 2016 Reading Challenge. I didn’t quite make it, but I’m okay with that because I feel like my reading life was reinvigorated this year, even as my work life was super busy . I didn’t stick to the categories in the reading challenge, but this rule-follower is actually okay with that, too. Here’s what I read this year, followed by my five favorites of the year:. A book about Christian living. Do More Bette...

Monday miscellany: new year edition →. January 1, 2017. In this new year, I’m also planning to read more from my own shelves, improve my knitting skills, and write a little more. Sounds like the best laid plans of mice and men, right? No, I won’t meet all my goals, but I’m a firm believer that I have better odds of moving forward if I have something ahead of me to move towards. Thank you for sticking around for the random posts that appear here from time to time! I pray you have a peaceful 2017. Every ti...

The Jernigan's: The Name and Nursery!!!
http://laurenanddanjernigan.blogspot.com/2009/07/name-and-nursery.html
Dan, Lauren, and Hicks. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. The Name and Nursery! We have decided on a name. We will call her. Mary Maddox is my great grandmother's. Name and Maddox is my mom's maiden name. This was Dan's favorite name that we were contemplating. That made it easier for me because I liked all the names we were talking about the same. It is so much fun to have decided on one and actually call her her name! Now on to the decorating! Embroidered scalloped edge with dots. Roth Country Gingham- pink.

We kept Addie (her daughter) while she was in the hospital. We kept her three nights and man that was a job! I spy some rednecks! So for now. have a wonderful week! I have b...
