Monday, December 7, 2015. It's my favourite time of the year - Christmas! I love everything about the season. I have found that over the last few years more and more people find it too busy and stressful. I can understand that, but for me it's a time for family and food. This past weekend we got our Christmas Tree. Christmas has become more exciting now that Mateo understands. His excitement makes it all feel so nostalgic. It was 6. I don't ever remember a December this warm. These boys are my world!

Monday, September 9, 2013. And now its the second week of September. I read somewhere that time goes faster when you have kids, this may be true. Last week feels like a blur and this weekend was a blink. I don't remember a weekend sneaking away from me this fast. This past week was a sobering reality check on how balancing work and life with a child is a lot more challenging than I once believed. For starters leaving your inconsolable child every morning is a killer! Eating blueberries at the beach.

Monday, June 3, 2013. Girl guides is coming to an end this year. We always have a district wind up. This year's theme was country fair. We held them at our local fair grounds and invited families. Our group did a photo booth and mini golf. I used my sisters photo booth from her wedding. And added some extra holes to the mini golf we used for our Alice in Wonderland theme 4 years ago. It was a great turn out. I love when our community comes out for fun events. Another group were fortune tellers.
