http://kaylaandtaylormanning.blogspot.com/2009/02/crazy-sleeper.html
Kayla, Taylor, and Cohen. Thursday, February 19, 2009. I had to share these pictures because the other night Taylor put Cohen to bed ( in his big boy bed, no longer the bassinet). http://hotmamashouse.blogspot.com/2009/01/theres-nothing-like-having-secret.html
Wednesday, January 7, 2009. There's nothing like having a secret admirer! I've been feeling very Valentines-y, now that Christmas is over. I took down the Christmas decorations and went straight to Valentine's Day. Time to display the cute little felt sugar cookies that I obsessed over making last year! The princess is in 4th grade. At her Back-to-Basics school, all parties are on Fridays. So, last Friday. Remember, this is a repost - so this was last year). On Valentine's Day I took my brown paper groce...

SuperHotMama's House: Ribbon Rose Tutorial, Part 1 - The rose
http://hotmamashouse.blogspot.com/2009/05/ribbon-rose-tutorial-part-1-rose.html
Wednesday, May 6, 2009. Ribbon Rose Tutorial, Part 1 - The rose. To make one ribbon rose, you'll need:. 1 to 1 1/2 yards of 1 1/2 inch wide wire edge ribbon (you can use ribbon that is not wired, but you'll be doing a lot more stitching for the gathering.) Tip: measure in ribon widths - you need about 36 ribbon widths to make one rose. If your ribbon is one inch wide, use 36 inches of ribbon. You'll need 6 - 9 ribbon widths per leaf. Needle and thread (preferrably matching your ribbon). When you get to t...

Explore, laugh, play. In life we cling to the eternal youth, to the vine (shrine) of what we think is life. There is beauty in letting go. To that end, we scatter ourselves to places we never knew existed, to places that stumble upon the beauty we didn’t even know we possessed. The Air Up There. And nestle my face. And wish and wish. That I was born of Thee. In this time of grasping. In this time of need. I’m gonna lift my eyes up to sky. I’m fall down on my knees. Each time a new beginning,. You are com...

Legacy of Hope Austin. Tuesday, November 4, 2008. A post in which I combine all sorts of seemingly unrelated little items that must go somewhere. Let's give a big round of applause for these folks, would ya? So in honor of Election Day, I thought I would make sure you knew about that other election you were all so curious about. I was honored to receive an Honorable Mention award in Scribbit's October Write Away contest. My entry was The Yellow Umbrella. Crazy Mama of 6. Steph at Problem Solvin' Mom.

Bake reindeer cookies for neighbor gifts. Make candy cane notes to thank people for spreading holiday cheer. Enjoy and Merry Christmas! Related Posts by C...
