http://bigorangelandmarks.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Exploring the Landmarks of Los Angeles, One Monument at a Time. Tuesday, March 22, 2011. It's the Silver Anniversary for the Last Remaining Seats. You know what's the best part of this year's Last Remaining Seats. We're getting the opportunity to spend a couple of hours in the 100-year-old Palace Theatre. And on its 100th birthday no less. It's the L.A. Conservancy's. And Orpheum theatres are, but my favorite Last Remaining Seats moment was seeing Bud and Lou in Buck Privates. On June 26. The Palace.

A Texan in Illinois

Monday, June 21, 2010. The Glee of Three. The last few months have flown by and before I knew it, I ran out of time to make Lubbock's birthday party invitations. Pick your jaw up off the floor! The invitations for birthdays one. Were extremely intricate, but I had lots of fun making them. The idea I had for the third party invitation never looked as good in life as it did in my head. After a few attempts, I gave up and turned to my favorite card website, Tiny Prints. I set up an assortment of candy, clev...

A Texan in Sydney - Study Abroad Log

A Texan in Sydney - Study Abroad Log. Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Sorry it has taken me such a long time to finish this blog. Once I got home on July 13th, I was just swept up by school, moving back to Austin, and all that stuff. Coming home was differently a lot weirder than going to Australia, I don't really know why. I was weird driving again and not being overwhelmed by people everywhere I went. I do miss Sydney and the city, but I'm glad to back and start my final year at college. But first before w...

A Texan Odyssey

Life through the eyes of a Texan gal, a mom and a wife, a lover of order and imagination. Milk Paint Cabinets, Shoji White Walls and Lots of Flowers: A Kitchen and Dining Room Update. I'm back with lots of pictures of my updated kitchen and dining room! Although I realized after the fact that I seemed to take more pictures of the flowers (purchased and from my yard) than of the actual work I've done to the space! I guess I just really love fresh flowers! My sister and brother-in-law gave us this painting...
