Sunday, July 24, 2011. Before the heat wave. These are from a beautiful summer work day before this ridiculous heat wave. The sort of day that makes me love my walk to work and take every excuse to run outside mid-day. I have just 2 thing to say about this heat: my New England body does not know how to handle it. I didn't realize how much sweat I can produce in such a short period of time. I really like this outfit! Simple, easy and so fun with my Ghana jacket (thanks Mom, the seamstress). 30 for 30 posts.

Saturday, July 2, 2011. First of all, I wonder how many bloggers have used "fringe benefits" for a post about bangs before, probably a ton.but I like it. I got my hair trimmed, and I let the stylist (who I totally trust) give me an asymmetrical bang. At first I was kind of wary, thought I looked a little Vulcan-like (hi, I like Star Trek.), but everyone else (mom, dad, boyf, people in salon) seemed to react positively. I liked this outfit and it was super simple to put together on Monday morning, but it didn't really photograph well.which is probably partly because I didn't get around to taking my photos until after working and I was skyping with my sister while taking my photos.
