I'm staying in the 11ème arrondissement (district) of Paris, approximately two miles away from the Gare Austerlitz, and about five miles from. Saturday, May 10, 2008. Here's a good pic of the Tour Eiffel at midday, overlooking the Seine River. It is possible to climb to the top of the Tower (well, 800/1000 ft of it); however, I'm not. Plus, I'd have to wait AT LEAST 2 hours in line for that particular pleasure. Mmm, no; it wasn't something that I really wanted to do.
