Chintans Musings: April 2007
http://chintansmusings.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 17, 2007. I'll miss you, Scholars Avenue. Today, as I walked with Buzz (Basant, my fellow Executive Editor) on the Scholars' Avenue, with a couple of Scholars' Avenues in my hand (pun intended), there was this excitement juxtaposed with a sense of longing. Damn! This is it - I won't be able to do this any more. I'll miss interviewing the bigwigs coming to campus. I'll miss interviewing the mavericks and achievers inside campus. I'll miss the two-hour chats with Sunny on "Lets make things b...

Chintans Musings: The End of an Era
http://chintansmusings.blogspot.com/2011/12/end-of-era.html
Monday, December 12, 2011. The End of an Era. It seems like just yesterday when he moved into the house, and knowing that I was preparing for my prelims, cooked me dinner and came invitingly into my room with a plate in one hand and an unmistakable gleam in his eyes. "Yeh lo, khaao! You've got to excuse me for getting emotional. Here's raising a toast to the quickest guy that I know - Sriramkumar Venugopalan. A CEO coming to a company near you. Chintans Musings: May 2008
http://chintansmusings.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Saturday, May 10, 2008. Yes, its a beautiful day. On a warm Saturday evening,. When the sun is not yet down. When the leaves babble in the wind. When the Golden Gate glisters across the horizon. When the Bay beams in joy. There's someone, stashed in a cubicle. The sun teases to draw you outside. The leaves cackle in hope for distraction. The Golden Gate glitters but is not gold. The Bay can't wash away the miseries. True happiness lies at the desktop. Or so the mind says. Some day I'll beckon the sun.

Chintans Musings: September 2006
http://chintansmusings.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 15, 2006. S I D S E T H @ S T A N F O R D . E D U. Sid was this verbose fellow even during the JEE days, when I first met him at a lecture. I thought someone would be really dumb to be an optimist and pay 15 grand for a crash course, after clearing the Screening with a huge 4-figure rank from Nasik, where IIT-JEE was probably just as unheard as feminism is in Afghanistan. Well, what do you know? I spot him during Counselling! At Puri beach, Yuva and Lakshya at Bangalore, the ship-ride a...

The power of Nostalgia. Friday, December 30, 2005. SOME IMAGES FROM THE PARTY. At the start of the evening - all sane! Belly Dancing to the tunes of Golle Mara. Notice the fallen object . indicative of the night developing! Enjoying the warm winter. And if you are wondering . what I hold is not mine! Clouds gather on the horizon the day after - time to get back to the drudgery? PS Some more pictures to follow soon . yet to finish collecting all! Posted by Souvik at 10:27 AM. With two days of holidaying o...

The power of Nostalgia. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. A PEEK INTO SCHUMI'S DIARY - MONACO. Hello tifosis. I had a bit of a strange weekend, I can tell you. So far I have not revealed the true reason of what is happening to me in Rascasse on Saturday, but quite honestly and obviously I would like to get it all over my chest. To start with, I'd like to thank the Ferrari pitcrew for going on the Planet-F1 poll and voting "No it was a complete accident." For the last two days. Thankfully I am lucky to have the su...

Wanderlust: January 2006
http://insearchofthrills.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
The power of Nostalgia. Tuesday, January 17, 2006. MORE DEAD THAN ALIVE. Life in work can indeed get boring, which no doubt has been ruminated upon for aeons. This was the single most important reason for such a long gap in posting. Now don't be misled coz nothing's changed to make it more interesting! And now to the topic. On second thoughts, could have named this post "It all ends with a bang" more appropriately. But then as the saying goes "Whats in a name? Only it turned out that I would have to be t...

Chintans Musings: What do I gift you?
http://chintansmusings.blogspot.com/2011/03/what-do-i-gift-you.html
Tuesday, March 15, 2011. What do I gift you? If I were to gift you my love. I would gloss over the roses, the orchids and the daisies. And toss the teddy's, the fragrances and the draperies. If I were to gift you a part of me. I would gift you my wings. To fly higher than I may dare see. I would gift you my time. To explore the underworld and the divine. I would gift you my eyes. To perceive your own beauty. And watch out for the unwanted surprise. I would gift you my rhymes. Posted by Chintan @ 1:58 PM.

Chintans Musings: Pull me close, my dear
http://chintansmusings.blogspot.com/2011/02/pull-me-close-my-dear.html
Monday, February 14, 2011. Pull me close, my dear. This stillness has become music to my ears. Notes that only I claim to hear. Should I be enticed by my solitude again. Please pull me close, my dear. My world exists in the spoken delirium. And silence quivers like leaves in the fall. Should I fail to read the farthest corners of your mind,. I pray your eyes do beckon the call. The wanderer within grows restless. And eggs on the feet to shuffle. Should I try to disentangle myself from you. A week in the ...

The power of Nostalgia. Wednesday, July 26, 2006. Her place for lazing around (having a view of the handsome ;-) sailors)! Posted by Souvik at 11:37 AM. Tuesday, July 25, 2006. A "FURRY FUZZY" WEEKEND. Its been aeons since my last post and I'm sure some of you have stopped visiting this blog! My apologies indeed. It has been more of a lack of things to write about rather than a lack of time, aptly called the "writer's block" (not that I consider myself too much of a writer though! An hour and a half of f...
