Monday, March 06, 2006. The gear gods hate me! What a weekend for riding! So Sunday I ride with AOF. And AOF's bud R and get in two hours of laid back weather-enjoying good stuff. By mangling my rear derailleur with a stick, of course. Shame on me for succumbing to the shifter-thingies! Now I'm out 45 bucks, which sux.

Sunday, July 09, 2006. The strangest thing happened this weekend. I rode my bike. Twice. For the first times since the first week in May. My mom was right, too - I was smiling so much I think my face is stuck like this forever. I'm happy to report that my leg actually feels better on a bike than it does when walking.

Wednesday, March 22, 2006. Six hours and $600 later, I have a much deeper understanding of 45 Hough St (the place I may buy). Built in 1890, it has an old barn that was converted into two 2BR apartments. The barn and the house are connected by an added on section. Here's what I learned today:. Old construciton is OLD.

I'll never be happy with being content, that I'm pretty sure of. But will I ever find anything that makes me happy? Or is my happiness found only in the search?
