So here is a simple conceptual sketch of how the different forms of modelling within UML contribute to the development of the software artefact. Labels: UML Analytical Framework. Interestingly we found that moving the "Held Open" state (where the monies are not resolved) up the diagram allowed us to clarify and to an extent simplify the state diagram.
