Shenanigans in the kitchen. Bringing our knowledge of yummy and (usually) healthy food to the masses! Sunday, March 29, 2009. This recipe is pretty easy, and it can work really well if you make it in advance. You can stuff peppers with pretty much anything under the sun. this is what i did with my peppers. Rice (i make my rice in a rice cooker and i put about 1/4 cup salsa in with the water- use less water than normal). I would also recommend corn, carrots, and onion). How to stuff your pepper:. My little family in the BIG woods: Honora's Birth
http://littlefamilybigwoods.blogspot.com/2014/09/honora-vivians-birthstory-my-back-story.html
Thursday, September 11, 2014. Honora Vivian’s Birth Story. My back story was that I had a really difficult birth with my first baby, and when I was pregnant again about a year later, I was determined to find a different way…enter Hypnobabies! This is my 4. Birth, and my 3. Hypnobaby, and I am thankful for that first bad experience, because otherwise I would probably never have known the subsequent births. J. My first baby was born at 41 weeks, my second at 41 weeks 2 days, and my third, on his due date!

My little family in the BIG woods: February 2010
http://littlefamilybigwoods.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 21, 2010. Adelynne is on her feet! She does a bit of walking when no one is looking, and here I caught her standing on her own. Now and then there is a bit of tear free "rassling" that occurs- I can't believe I caught it! 1 Jot your thoughts. Links to this post. We had a blast taking Nehemiah for his first bowling for an early Valentine's celebration. 0 Jot your thoughts. Links to this post. I have been lax in my posting lately, but I have been taking pictures! 1 Jot your thoughts. Tales...

My little family in the BIG woods: January 2010
http://littlefamilybigwoods.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 23, 2010. This may seem trite, but I often decide to bake spur of the moment, and in the evening, Nehemiah likes to enjoy the fruits of his/our labor before bed- surprise, surprise! Anyway, it takes too long to soften butter to room temp in our chilly house (in the winter), so I went in search of an alternative, and wouldn't you know, I found one. We made a batch of chocolate chip cookies this way tonight, and it worked! Photo credit: simplyrecipes.com. 3 Jot your thoughts. I want to fo...

My little family in the BIG woods: Welcome Malachi!
http://littlefamilybigwoods.blogspot.com/2012/05/well-this-one-was-definitely-new-and.html
Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Well, this one was definitely a new and different birthing experience! Malachi decided to be prompt and arrive on his due date (my other two were each at least a week passed their dates). Ben was able to catch about a 2 hour nap at this point and I worked on squatting as deeply as I could, circling my hips, trying to breathe the baby down. In between surges, I was praying for the family we met in the hallway, as well as for our birthing. It was about now that they tried the 2.

shenanigans in the kitchen: Oh oh Cheeri-O!
http://healthygoodness.blogspot.com/2009/05/oh-oh-cheeri-o.html
Shenanigans in the kitchen. Bringing our knowledge of yummy and (usually) healthy food to the masses! Sunday, May 3, 2009. I never used to be a big cereal person, but I have found a lot of joy from Cheerios recently. There are two types that I currently love. The multi-grain Cheerios and the Banana Nut, and this is why. You can have a WHOLE CUP of the multi-grain for only ONE POINT! EDIT: Kevin is throwing a wee bit of a fit right now because he is not getting any credit for being the person who first pu...
