Friday, 24 January 2014. What a wonderful place to spend hours floating around in the lives. Of some of the most talented and gifted people. There's so much colour and creativity. I've spent many hours drinking tea and entering the homes. Of these lovely people. For me this year is all about the journey not the destination, and new beginnings. I wanted to record this new and exciting journey. I keep a personal journal where I write pages and pages of my deepest feelings and emotions. I (We) love to create.

I do love this whole grain baking. 3/4 cup unsalted butter. 3/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons sugar. 1/4 cup orange juice. 2 teaspoons vanilla (Parker did this part so there was a lot more and tasted great). 2 cups whole wheat flour. 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. Beat butter, sugar and salt in medium bowl, then add orange juice, vanilla, flour and baking powder and mix. Pre-heat oven to 350*.
