Amy in Action

Monday, December 29, 2014. Ready for the holidays. Simple. Cause I've got nothing else. Another make-shift Christmas tree. This one is actually alive though, a s oppsed to last Christmas (view here. I had to use stakes to hold up the three ornaments in the tree. Aaron and I played the special role of Mary and Joseph for our branch nativity. Fooled ya - there is no baby Jesus, or any baby at all, in that blanket I'm holding. But it was a very special evening. And I was so happy to share it with my love.

Amy in Action: August 2014

http://amyinaction.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html

Sunday, August 31, 2014. This will probably be an ongoing post as I discover the things Koreans do right. Or at least right in my perception, others may disagree. For now I have discovered the following:. Handrails are at a perfect height for a 5'4" frame. They are easy to grab and perfectly situated in case a fall may occur. Luckily I have had no fall but if I do I will be happy to know the Koreans have thought of this little but important feature of staircases. Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Aug 9-15): Lo...

Amy in Action: Family in Korea

http://amyinaction.blogspot.com/2014/10/family-in-korea.html

Wednesday, October 15, 2014. That's right. I have a cousin that lives in Korea! Aaron and I took a trip down to Gwangju to pay them a visit. Cousin Trevor and his beautiful wife, Ju Young, let us stay for a weekend. It is very nice to have a Korean cousin-in-law that can interpret, take us to new places, and teach us the ways of the people. Koreans are VERY generous. We didn't buy one meal or any street food. We didn't pay for transportation or any of our entertainment. They are so generous. It was a fes...

Amy in Action: December 2013

http://amyinaction.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html

Sunday, December 29, 2013. It is the most wonderful time of the year. We spent our first. Christmas together in New Hampshire. It was a nice break from flight school and the warm weather of Alabama (Christmas just isn't Christmas without cold and snow). We mad a lot of fun memories but some of my favorite included: playing games near the fire, our Christmas nativity, making gingerbread houses and sledding. You've got a Christmas tree. And Mary (Avy) on her donkey. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

https://mikeandhays.wordpress.com/2012/02/22/8-week-update-written-december-1-2011

8 week update (written December 1, 2011! February 22, 2012. Where has all the time gone? I can’t hardly believe that it’s been 8 weeks since my last post. Yes everyone, we are still alive and healthy🙂 First off, I LOVED general conference! There were so many wonderful talks that spoke directly to me. My top two favorites 1) ‘ Children. 8216; given by Elder Neil L. Andersen and 2)’ Love Her Mother. October 19th just so happened to be my 24th birthday! Mike had his fall concert that night so I took Ashley...

9 months ago today :). May 31, 2013. I can’t believe Clark has been in our lives for 9 months already. It seems like just yesterday I was big and pregnant and waiting for him to get here. Since I haven’t blogged anything about his birth, I thought tonight would be a good time. I felt right at home the minute we started talking. She reminded me a lot of my older sisters, such a blessing! Dr Bierer layed him right on my chest and Mike cut the cord. We were parents! The second night at about 2am, I was up b...

August 20, 2012. The end of May found my mom, Jami, her 4 kids, and I on a road trip to Denver. We had a total blast! We were gone from May 31st to June 3rd. We sure all had a great time together! June was super fun but went by way too fast! My dad had his 2nd Annual Family Swim Party at Roy Aquatic which was so fun! Grandma was a great teacher and Grandpa had fun listening to all of our stories! The boys did such a great job and had a blast together. I think Mike wanted to be 8 years old again! We had a...

9 months in waiting… | Michael & Hailey

https://mikeandhays.wordpress.com/2012/08/28/9-months-in-waiting

9 months in waiting…. August 28, 2012. I woke up this morning and realized it’s August 28th, one day before our due date. I can’t believe how fast these past 9 months have just flown by. I’ve wanted to blog about all of my feelings and thoughts about being pregnant since I don’t keep a real journal. I don’t want to forget all of my ‘firsts’! We told my family about the baby on January 12th. We have it on video and will post it soon! We have a fun video of that too! Poor Mike felt SO bad about it! My mom ...

http://al-and-sam.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Friday, June 3, 2011. We went to Vernal for Memorial Day Weekend and had such a fun time. Here are some highlights:. Shot my first gun and hit the target on the first try. So cool. Did some hiking, even though there were "Bear Country" signs at the beginning of the trail. Not super comforting. Had dinner and saw Pirates 4 with the family. Went to church and loved us some sunny weather. Posted by Alex and Sam. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Adam and Lauren Graff. Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

Monday, August 29, 2011. We went to Jackson. We had the funnest family vacation last week in Jackson Hole. Yes, it was ridiculously fun. Yes, we played very hard. Just another WordPress.com site. July 31, 2010. For this assignment, I chose Walt Disney Pictures/Pixar Animation Studios movie. The story is written and Directed by Peter Doctor and Bob Peterson. Also written by Tom McCarthy. (imdb) I chose because not only am I forced to watch this movie over and over with my 11-year-old son, I have grown to love the movie as well. Around the World in 80 Days. The theme finds perhaps its most surprising variations in the heroic action as when Carl and Russell escape fr...

Wednesday, May 21, 2014. I believe I have become over-stimulated on the lovely social media known as Facebook. Call me overly-vulnerable, but I have had it with the witticisms, criticisms, memes, recipes, political thoughts, and the "oh my gosh my life is fabulous"-ness that I read nearly every day on that website. Do YOU have any suggestions or ideas? Wishing you well always,. PS Dennis carved and painted this beautiful necklace I'm wearing in the picture! Friday, March 21, 2014. It is a blessing! My fo...

Monday, May 28, 2012. The Princess Clique: Who's In, Who's Out? Disclaimer: I'm not really good at this blogging thing. I wrote the following back in March but never got around to editing and posting it. Damn kids and work and life getting in the way. I finally decided to write a new entry, but figured this one was worth posting first. She greeted each princess with awe- even on day seven, by which time we had so many character signatures we had to get a THIRD signature book. Snow White: the slightly chu...
