Paint a Pot Studio. Amerton Pottery established in 1994. How it all began. My name is Jamie Gauge, I came to Staffordshire in late 1968. I began studying Art successfully at school and then at College. In the Farm Shop we have a wide range of fine jams, preserves and pickles. We also have locally produced wine and other beverages including our own Amerton Farm beer. There is a vast range of local cheeses, including specialist cheeses from around the country. On sale there is also traditional farm shop produce such as local meat, butter, cream and eggs. Amerton Farm ice cream is sold in tubs and cornets from the Farm Shop (see under Amerton Ice Cream). Light refreshments can also be purchased.

Ez Bates set up and opened his blacksmith shop at Amerton Farm in March 2014. The blacksmith is a step back in time to the days when you could watch craftsmen actually at work using the large selection of tools and the very impressive forge. Jez makes items to order and it is facinating watching him at work, producing beautiful hearts to garden gates. Visit our farm animals including Dexter cows, pigs and ponies. Chickens and ducks run freely in the traditional farmyard environment which children love. Children are free to feed and pet the animals in the farmyard. Animal food is available from the Farm Shop. Amerton Ice Cream was one of the first items to be produced on the farm when it opened to the general public in 1984. Made with Jersey cream, it is still produced today using the original recipes, but made on our behalf by a local dairy farmer who specialises in ice cream. Flavours include: Vanilla, Strawberry, Chocolate, Mint Choc Chip, Banana and Toffee, Cherry, Rum and Raisin, Raspberry Pavlova, Squashed Frog, Apple Pie and a monthly guest ice cream. Our ice cream has to be tasted to be believed!
