The Johnsons: National Champs
http://k-and-t-family.blogspot.com/2011/07/national-champs.html
July 23, 2011. I know this is long overdue, but I wanted to give this blog post its due diligence. Wow, what a fun football season we had at Auburn this past fall! Little did we know, when we started the season ranked 24th that we would go on to win the SEC, have a Heisman Trophy winner, and go on to claim the BCS National Championship? Yes, can you believe as big of Auburn fans that we are that we got married during an Auburn game? This was camelback mountain that we drove past on the way to the stadium.

The Johnsons: Mallory's 1st Birthday
http://k-and-t-family.blogspot.com/2011/07/mallory.html
July 23, 2011. I feel like I post so much about Luke, so this entire post is dedicated to our sweet little cupcake, Mallory! I cannot believe we are already celebrating Mallory's 1st birthday. I swear she was just born yesterday. I think time goes by even faster with the second child. Is that possible? Mallory's birthday celebrations kicked off with a Gigi's cupcake on her actual birthday at home. Then, she had a party with her classmates at school. How cute are they? You are a tough girl and don't flinc...

The Johnsons: February 2010

February 10, 2010. I cannot believe we've gotten snow in Auburn the past three years.even if it was just a dusting in 2008! Yes, my cousins in Minneapolis would be laughing hysterically at us getting excited at 3 inches of snow, but it's no small feat for the deep south! Luke enjoyed the snow in small increments. Poor thing, he got cold and wet and could only stand it for so long. But he did enjoy building a snowman, complete with one of his pacifiers that he just gave up! Yea for no more pacifiers!

July 15, 2010. A blog post - hooray! So much has happened since I've last blogged, so I'll try to get everyone up to speed. Going back to mid January we celebrated Luke's 2nd birthday! We had friends and family over to the house for lunch and then headed to the fire station. The firemen gave us a tour of the station and even let us hop up on their firetrucks! July 13, 2010. Every year, I look forward to our annual 4th of July party! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Johnsons: April 2010

April 26, 2010. We had to have an Auburn corner! April 22, 2010. April 2, 2010. Easter and A-Day Game. If the A-Day Game is any indication of how football/tailgate season is going to be this fall, we're going to have sooo much fun! Luke loved running around the tailgate spot and eating all the yummy food, especially the brownies. He and Parker played so well together and looked adorable in their matching #1 football jerseys. No, we didn't plan that either! Look how pretty the azealas were around campus!

June 28, 2010. With a little help from our friends. Parker and the Henrys. June 25, 2010. June 7, 2010. Yes, we are those crazy Auburn fans! Yes, Tim overheard a lady say that was the youngest baby she had ever seen at an Auburn sporting event! Don't worry, I didn't keep Mallory out there too long. We probably only stayed 3 or 4 innings. Although, Tim and I joke that she's the easy one because all she does is sleep at this age! June 2, 2010. Thank goodness for playdates to get that energy out!

August 18, 2010. I'm not just writing this because I'm a librarian, but I love our public library, or as Luke would say " liberby. Every Thursday, our local public library has toddler time where one of the librarians reads a book based on a theme. We also make a craft and sing songs. One week we learned about pirates and ships, another week we practiced our numbers, etc. It's so much fun! It's a great place to go when it's extremely hot or cold outside and the best part is that it's free! August 15, 2010.

September 3, 2009. Woo Hoo and a visit to see Aunt Madeline. I successfully defended my thesis and now have my Ed Specialist degree from Auburn! It was very intense and nerve wracking, but I survived! No, I don't have any desire to go back for my PhD. I just want to enjoy time with my sweet family! A week after I finished my school work, we took a trip to Jacksonville, FL to visit my sister, aka Aunt Madeline. We had a wonderful time! I think we will have many more beach trips in our future.
